October 15, 2008  Laurence H. Baker Lecture at Iowa State University, in Ames.  

Professor Bradley Efron will deliver the talk entitled,  "Learning from the Experience of Others."   See announcement for details.  Members (and non-members) of the IA Chapter of the ASA are encouraged to attend.  Attendees are also encouraged to join in after the talk for an informal lunch at the Memorial Union on the ISU campus.  (See driving directions.)
