Actuaries from the Principal Financial Group (PFG) will be on campus on April 30th, 5:00p–6:00p, to give a presentation on how you can improve your job-hunting skills. Topics to be discussed will include:

• What are recruiters looking for in a candidate?

• What you should be doing now to prepare yourself

• How recruiters evaluate resumes

• Interview best practices

• Internship best practices

• Searching for a full-time job

   

  After the presentation we will head over to Colonial Lanes where pizza will be served and there will be bowling for prizes.

   

  The presentation will be in 140 Schaeffer Hall from 5-6, and bowling will begin at Colonial Lanes around 6:30.

  If you have not RSVP'd for the social event at Colonial Lanes then please do so by Wednesday, April 29th. Again, there is a carpool set up so you will not have to worry about getting to Colonial Lanes or getting back. It will be a great opportunity to network with actuaries from Principal in a relaxed environment and plus you can't beat free pizza, bowling and prizes! Here is the link to RSVP:
