"Empirical Likelihood  ANOVA for longitudinal studies with missing data".

Abstract: We consider ANOVA analysis for multi-treatment effects based on semi-parametric regression model with missing and unbalanced longitudinal data. The empirical likelihood is employed to formulate nonparametric ANOVA tests for treatment effects with respect to covariates and the nonparametric baseline functions. The proposed tests cover as special cases ANOVA tests when the underlying regression model for the longitudinal study is either parametric or nonparametric. The asymptotic distributions of the ANOVA test statistics are derived. A bootstrap procedure is proposed for the baseline time effect functions comparison. We analyze a HIV-CD4 dataset and compare the effects of four treatments.
